Alexis Torres

Lexi is currently coaching our 8U Rec team.

She was born and raised in California and has been playing softball since the 3rd grade. She played 5 years with the local rec league, San Rafael Girls Softball where she learned to play every position. Starting in the 5th grade, Lexi began playing at the travel team level, 2 years with the Nor Cal Smackers.

Starting in 7th grade, she began playing for the San Jose Strikkers.  She played with the Strikkers for 4 years. During her 4 years she got to travel the country playing in tournaments.

In High School, Lexi played for the St. Vincent Mustangs.

Throughout her years playing,  she also volunteered as an assistant coach for both recreation and travel teams, which she did for about 8 years.

Lexi was offered to play for the York College Spartans which brought her to the East Coast.  Unfortunately, during her playing, she was injured multiple times resulting in 2 surgeries, 1 of which was career ending. While her playing days are over, she still loves the game and looks forward to giving back to the young girls who want to play.
