Melissa Smith

Melissa Smith currently coaches the 12U team. She is a full time paralegal at the Baltimore County States Attorney’s office. She is an EMT/ Firefighter and volunteer at Hampstead Volunteer Fire Department along with working part time as an EMT/ Firefighter at Upperco Volunteer Fire Department, with that being said she will always have a first aid kit with her. Melissa  has played softball for a total of 20ish years and with the Hot Shots organization for 10 years. She has coached for 2 years as an 18U coach.  " I am excited to bring my knowledge and experience to the players to grow with in the future. "

Hot Shots Mission:

To instruct and educate players in the skills required to participate at the recreational, travel, high school and college levels of play, while assisting players to improve their skills and knowledge of the game.

To provide guidance and support, both on and off the field.

To encourage sportsmanship and develop character, leadership, and a positive attitude.
