Vince Corsaro

2020 is Vince’s 23rd consecutive year of coaching girls softball in the Carroll County and Hanover, PA areas. Vince started his coaching career in a local rec organization before fastpitch was available in the Carroll Area.  His first experience in fastpitch came in the 2002 10U ASA Md. State Championships in Reisterstown, which he entered with his slow-pitch team.  Having 3 daughters over a 13 year span has enabled him to coach all 3 of his daughters from the 10U to 18U level.  His teams have competed in all levels of play, from rec league to Gold level tournaments. Competitively, Vince is a firm believer in teaching the most essential skills of the game, and doing the “little things” better than his opponent; but his most important goal is teaching his players to be good players and even better people. As a Hotshots coach, Vince had the honor of coaching one of the most successful team in recent Hotshots history.  His original Black Lightning team competed in 16 tournament final rounds over an 8 year period.  Now coaching at the 10U level for the 4th time, Vince is hoping to bring the same passion for the game to his young players that has kept him involved for the past 23 seasons.
